Ryan and Veronique had a Pittsburgh Engagement session nestled in the serene sound of cascading water, the lush greenery surrounding them and as an intimate photographer, I got to document them with shadows and highlights that only added to the artistry of their photos.
As an intimate documentary photographer, my approach is simple yet profound. I believe in capturing raw emotions, genuine moments, and authentic connections.
Your love story is unique, and it deserves to be told in a way that reflects its true essence. In order to accomplish that, I like to give my couples space and time so they can express themselves freely and the experience is as authentic as possible.
Summer in Pittsburgh brings with it a symphony of vibrant colors and lush landscapes, making it the ideal time for a romantic waterfall engagement session.
From the moment we arrived at the waterfall, we felt a sense of tranquility and serenity.
Ryan wore jeans and a gray shirt, which he ended up taking off when we did more of the water shots once we got to the waterfall.
Veronique on the other hand, wore a red dress, which we took advantage of for the first photos, and then she changed into an earthy bikini.
If in doubt, wear neutral, earthy colors so you complement each other and blend in with the environment.
One of the most magical aspects of a waterfall engagement session is its ability to evoke a sense of awe and wonder.
When Veronique and Ryan were together, surrounded by the beauty of nature, the connection between them was palpable. It’s a reminder that love is a force of nature, powerful and unyielding.
In addition to capturing intimate moments between Ryan and Veronique, I wanted to incorporate the natural beauty of the waterfall into the photographs as much as possible.
We were able to get beautiful shots of Ryan and Veronique in the waterfall that are very romantic.
The rushing water, the mist in the air, and the dark rocks were the perfect backdrop for this intimate and romantic couple’s shoot. The environment adding depth and dimension to each photo.
My goal as your engagement photographer is to create a visual narrative that speaks to the unique bond you share, capturing the essence of your love in its purest form.
